Today, we’re giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the heart and soul of our business: the Traveling Taps team. From childhood friends to business partners, we bring our unique talents together to transform a vintage Piaggio Ape named Polly into the centerpiece of every unforgettable event.

A Perfect Partnership

Brady and I (Morgan) have known each other since we were four years old, sharing a passion for connection and creativity from the start. Over the years, Brady’s brewing skills blossomed, and my knack for event design evolved, making a mobile bar business feel like a natural next step. Brady’s engineering expertise turned Polly from a humble Piaggio Ape into a fully functional one-of-a-kind bar cart, while I focus on crafting custom drink menus and event designs that make each gathering unique. 

The blend of our skills makes Traveling Taps special. Brady’s calm problem-solving (he’s the guy you want if weather goes south) complements my attention to detail. Together, we balance precision with creativity, and let’s just say Polly wouldn’t be the star she is today without Brady’s dedication—or my insistence on polished brass taps. 

The Wisconsin Connection 

Our deep ties to Wisconsin shape everything we do at Traveling Taps. After years away, we returned home, craving Sunday night family dinners and the kind of community that only exists in small towns. Polly has introduced us to so many incredible people, helping us put down roots faster than we imagined. We love bringing the same warmth and welcome to every event we serve. 

Even Polly herself reflects our Wisconsin pride. From her cozy touches to her ability to adapt to every occasion (like a true Midwesterner), she’s more than just a bar cart—she’s a little piece of our story. 

Kona: The Brew Dog Extraordinaire

Of course, no team is complete without its mascot, and ours is Kona, our Aussie Doodle. Kona is named after Hawaii’s breathtaking Kona Coast, a place that holds deep meaning for our family. It’s where we scattered my late grandfather’s ashes, honoring his life and the memories he gave us. Every time we say her name, we’re reminded not only of his love, but the beautiful memories that were created in Hawaii.  

Kona isn’t just our brew dog; she’s a symbol of connection and legacy, a reminder of why we do what we do. She brings people together—just like Polly—and ensures every event is as vibrant and memorable as possible.  Traveling Taps is more than a mobile bar—it’s a celebration of craft, community, and connection. With Brady’s ingenuity, my creativity, and Kona’s charisma, we’re here to make every event we serve truly unforgettable.
